Mark Mahaffey is the Broker and President of Mark Mahaffey and Associates Real Estate, a full-service real estate firm based in Athens and Watkinsville, Georgia. Serving Athens-Clarke County and surrounding areas, Mark brings decades of experience, deep local market knowledge, and a results-driven approach to buyers, sellers, investors, and property owners. Licensed since 1986, he holds an MBA and a BBA from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business and has earned multiple industry designations and achievement awards. Mark’s experience spans transactions from entry-level lots to multi-million-dollar lake homes, and his clients consistently praise his work ethic.

In addition to residential sales, Mark Mahaffey and Associates Real Estate operates a successful property management division focused on protecting assets, placing quality tenants, and delivering reliable monthly income for owners. Mark’s background includes corporate experience as an IT liaison supporting finance and accounting departments, as well as more than 20 years as a successful business owner, giving him a rare combination of technical expertise, financial insight, and strong interpersonal skills. Outside of work, Mark and his wife enjoy traveling, staying active through hiking, golf, working out, and exploring great food wherever they go.
